Service idea testing
Check whether clients would consider your service, and what holds them back
For a new service, the hard part is usually trust, convenience and price, not the idea itself. SellTo.us shows your offer to thousands of AI-simulated potential clients built for your audience and reports who would consider it, who wouldn’t and the concerns they raise, so you can fix the offer before you spend on marketing.

Moving to a new area
Pick the country and city, and see results by client group.
Rewriting your pitch
Test up to 5 descriptions of the same service side by side.
How a test works
- Describe the service. What’s included, who it’s for, where and, if you have one, the price. Choose Service, the country, city and the kinds of clients you want.
- The audience is built. An AI model splits it into client groups, then our code creates individual simulated clients from those groups.
- Each one answers. Would consider it, maybe or wouldn’t consider it, with a short reason, for every version.
- The report is counted and checked. See the methodology.
What you get
| Test size | Versions | Groups | Simulated interviews | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 potential clients | 1 | 8 | 12 | $19 (first one free) |
| 10,000 potential clients | up to 3 | 25 | 50 | $69 |
| 100,000 potential clients | up to 5 | 100 | 200 | $279 |
Every report includes the share of simulated potential clients in each answer, results by group, the main reasons for and against, labeled quotes, ideas to test next and the claims in your description that need evidence. Larger tests compare several versions, add an image vote and an ad targeting guide, and at 100,000 add results by city. Monthly plans give 10 tests a month from $49.
For services the report concentrates on the concerns that stop people booking: trust, convenience and price, plus the proof or packaging changes that would make more people consider it.
Reading the result well
- Trust objections need proof, not discounts. Reviews, guarantees, credentials or a trial session usually answer them better than a lower price.
- Look at groups. A service that half the market ignores can still fill your calendar from one group.
- Treat small gaps as a tie and test both options with real clients.
What it can’t tell you
- Considering isn’t booking. Simulated clients don’t compare real local providers, read your reviews or check your availability.
- Quality of the service isn’t tested. Only the description, price and images are.
- No accuracy is claimed. Results haven’t been measured against real sales, and each test is run once, so how much the numbers would move on another run isn’t measured. More on the limits.
- Your claims aren’t checked. Credentials, guarantees and results in your description are listed as yours to verify.
Then check it with real people
- Offer a limited intro price or free consultation to the most interested group and count real bookings.
- Ask 5–10 people who match that group what would make them trust a new provider.
- Change one thing, then re-test so the same simulated client groups compare old and new.
Example: our service sample report tests a made-up mobile car detailing service.
