Why most idea surveys give misleading answers
“Would you use this?” almost always gets a yes. People want to be kind, and saying yes costs nothing. Good customer research asks about real behaviour instead: the last time the problem happened, what they did about it, and what they use today.

Example

Limits
The questions are a starting point. Adjust the wording to your audience, test them on one or two people first, and remember that what people say is not always what they do.
