Example
Idea: “A meal-prep service for night-shift nurses that delivers at 6 pm.” A roast would likely ask whether nurses already rely on hospital cafeterias or batch-cooking, point out that delivery timing has to match rotating shifts, and suggest a simple experiment: offer five pre-orders to one hospital’s night staff and count how many pay. How to read the result
Treat every point as a question to check, not a verdict. If a weakness surprises you, that’s the one to test first. The roast is deliberately critical, so a long list of weaknesses doesn’t mean the idea is bad.
Limits
The roast only knows what you wrote. It doesn’t check the market, competitors or laws, it doesn’t include numbers or statistics, and it can be wrong. Use it to decide what to verify with real people.
